think pink

‘Spoil ourselves Pink’ we did indeed, at this year’s Pink Bedroom Party put on by Canada’s handbag queen herself, Jeanne Lottie.
Jeanne Lottie and myself pictured above as I arrived at the Libery Grand for the event last Friday evening.
The venue was packed with Toronto’s fashion finest, including Pat McDonagh, Amaswiss, and even Rebecca Hardy of Canada’s Next Top Model was there in support of The Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research…

Jeanne Lottie was stunning in a pink creation by Pat McDonagh, fitting for the occasion, and Rebecca, more vibrant than ever in a whimsical orange gown.

The evening wouldn’t have been possible without the hardworking volunteers that make it all come together…Tina, pictured above center, with niece, Jessie, to her left, and family friend, Aly, to her right.

Looking pretty in purple, more volunteers!

Oops! I almost forgot to check-in!

I paused for a moment to touch-up my hair…and yes…I always sit on a fireman’s lap while having my hair done.

Toronto’s pin-up firefighters were there signing their recent calender.

Me and the calender boys of August and November.

The Daniel of Salon Daniel sharing an intimate moment at the dinner table, pictured right.

Julia Kufel, guest, went Queen Street sheen, wearing an elegant silver Queen Street find.

…and I decide it looks like a good idea.

Pink was a common occurrence at this particular event…more party-goers!

Guest, Heather Hodgson brought out the gloves for the evening.

I cornered Tara Spencer-Nairn, of Corner Gas, for a photo as I simply loved her spin on the evening’s ‘pink’ theme.

The entertainment got started…and the fashion show began…featuring, of course, the hot-off-the-shelves handbags by Jeanne Lottie…

Jeanne Lottie and Daniel of Salon Daniel give their speeches…

…and the models retire from a show well done!

Myself and E. Michael Jones, the Chairman of the Bermuda Tourism Board, whom I personally nominate as ‘best-dressed’ of the evening.

Farewell until next year, as Jeannie Lottie brings an even more incredible evening than this and years gone past.
